Common questions

How much does HireMUA cost?
HireMUA is $39/month USD, or $390/year (equivalent to two months free). There's a 30-day free trial. No credit card required to start. No commission on your bookings, ever.
Does HireMUA work in Canada?
Yes. HireMUA is built for makeup artists across the USA and Canada. Pricing is in USD. There are no restrictions by province or state.
Can my clients sign contracts on their phone?
Yes, that's the whole point. You send a link by email or WhatsApp. Your client opens it on any phone, reviews the contract, draws their signature, and submits. No app download, no account required on their end. You get notified the moment it's signed.
How does deposit tracking work?
When you create a booking you set the deposit amount. HireMUA tracks whether it's been received and can send automated reminders to clients. Deposits are marked manually by you. HireMUA is not a payment processor, so you collect money however you prefer (e-transfer, Venmo, Zelle, etc.).
What types of events can I book?
Bridal, editorial, film and TV, party, photoshoot, prom, special occasion, and more. You choose the event type when creating a booking, which populates the contract template automatically.
Do I get a public profile page?
Yes. Every artist gets a public profile at hiremua.com/yourname: portfolio gallery, services, bio, social links, and a booking inquiry button. You control what's visible and can unpublish at any time.
Is there a free trial? Do I need a credit card?
Yes, 30 days free with full access to every feature. No credit card required to start. You only enter payment details when the trial ends and you choose to continue.
